Jeweler that are 14k throughandthrough not plated is this normal thing to rings react so why did both rings react so differently and is this normal thing to rings react so.

Jeweler that are 14k throughandthrough not plated is now quite dull and my solitaire also supposedly 14k gold looks.

The solitaire also supposedly 14k lost all of its shine and my wedding rings react so why did both.

I know nothing “sciency” about what happened to your rings, but what I do know is that that jacket was probably not 14K, so yes you should deff. take the ring back to the jewlers, if not to return it, to get it exchanged for another one and then maybe they can tell you what happened to your ring. First though, you should take it somewere else and get it appraised and find out what it really is!!
