    If you are using the butterfly-style, friction backs, they tend to loosen quite easily. The reason they do not hold is because the butterfly portion of the back stretches over time.

    What I suggest doing to remedy this is to gently squeeze them back into place every so often. You may or may not be able to do this by hand. If attempting with a pair of pliers, be very careful. But if done right, the earrings will sit tightly on your ears like new.
