I will be in Panama City, Panama and all over the country during the first two weeks in August 07, and want to get a good deal on a quality emerald ring. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Gold is cheap in Panama! There are many good jewelers in the city. Toi Joyeros, Imperiale, Nat Mendez, Rue Royal, and for panamanian jewelry Reprosa (dont miss that one). I dont know about emmeralds, but you‘ll flip over with the things you‘ll see.
